Beach & Cave Explorer - private boat tour in Bay of Kotor Montenegro

Beach & Cave Explorer

5 hours from 400€ per boat

All four outer-bay highlights from our Blue Cave Adventure — Our Lady of the Rocks, the Yugoslav submarine tunnel, a panoramic loop around Mamula Island, and the Blue Cave itself — combined with a relaxed one-hour stop at Žanjic Beach. Žanjic is one of the most beautiful pebble beaches on the Adriatic coast: crystal-clear water, pine trees shading the shore, and a handful of relaxed beach restaurants open throughout the season. After the Blue Cave we dock at Žanjic so you can swim, eat lunch, or just sit on the sand for an hour before cruising back to Kotor. Five hours total, private to your group, from €400 per boat for up to 6 guests.

Is this tour right for you?

Best for travellers who want the full outer-bay experience plus real swim and beach time — couples, families with kids 2+, and anyone who finds a 3-hour tour too rushed but a full-day tour too much. The 1-hour Žanjic stop is what makes this the most-booked tour of the four. Private to your group: from €400 per boat for up to 6 guests, +€20 per additional up to 8.

Frequently asked questions

How many guests can join this tour?

Up to 8 guests total. The €400 base price covers up to 6 guests; each additional guest above 6 is €20, with a maximum of 8 onboard. Price is per boat, not per person.

How long do we spend at Žanjic?

About 1 hour — enough time for a swim, lunch on the beach, or both. If your group wants more time and we have it in the schedule, just tell your captain.

Are the beach restaurants and bars open all season?

Yes — Žanjic's beach restaurants and small bars are open throughout our operating season (April through October). You can order fresh fish, grilled meats, salads and drinks directly on the beach.

Are sunbeds included?

No — sunbeds are rented directly on the beach and paid separately. They're affordable but not essential; many guests just bring a towel onto the pebbles.

Can we swim inside the Blue Cave?

For safety, swimming happens just outside the cave entrance, not inside. The blue colour is just as vivid in the water immediately outside the cave — and the visibility is far better there.

What's the cancellation policy if weather is bad?

The captain has the final call. If conditions are unsafe (high winds, storms in the outer bay), we reschedule at no charge. You don't pay anything in advance, so there's no cancellation fee either way.
